Among other things, HB uses specially selected outer materials and different insulation media, especially in the palm area, for a longer service life in contact heat, so that EN 407-certified protection against contact heat of up to 500 °C is achieved there. An up to four-layer construction of the palm supports the thermal insulation. The choice of materials in the palm also has a decisive influence on the mechanical properties and wear. That is why HB pays attention to high tear and abrasion resistance, both EN 388 certified. In addition, high-quality aluminised materials protect against radiant heat and splashes of molten metal.
HB's TEMPEX® TREME-HEAT glove range comprises eleven models in mitten, 3-finger or 5-finger versions in various lengths and sizes. This means that everyone can put together their own individual heat protection equipment. All products are manufactured in Europe and checked again in Germany.
