HB-PROtection®: High performance that fits right

Safe, comfortable and lightweight: that’s our new HB-PROtection® collection. The high-performance material made from 55% modacrylic, 43% cotton and 2% carbon and the ergonomic cut ensure an excellent fit with plenty of freedom of movement. The garments are comfortable to wear thanks to the use of high-quality natural fibres and the low fabric weight of just approx. 275 g/m². The appealing design in the popular colours grey and dark blue makes this a modern, attractive outfit in the workplace.

High protective function with multi-risk properties

Of course, as is typical of HB, HB-PROtection® also offers extensive protective functions: Alongside the single-ply models with Class 1 arc flash protection, the two-ply versions, which are worked double on the front and sleeves, offer Class 2 protection. HB’s product range additionally includes a completely two-ply jacket that also offers protection against 7 kA arcs in the back.

 

What’s more, the entire product range is certified according to
EN ISO 11612 A1/A2/B1/C1/F1, EN ISO 11611 Class 1 A1+A2,
EN 1149-5 and EN 13034. With arc flash, heat, flame and welding protection along with antistatic properties and chemical protection, these garments are equipped with the multi-risk properties often needed in the workplace.

This means that HB-PROtection® can be tailored to many areas of application and used in many workplaces, such as in plant and pipeline construction, in electrical installation and on switchgear, in the electrical trade and at public utility companies, gas and water suppliers or in steelworks.

 

Embroidered pictograms demonstrate certified safety

All of the external pockets of the jackets can be closed safely and securely with concealed FR zip fastenings. The sleeves, the front and back of the jacket and the trouser legs feature narrow reflective design elements. Standard pictograms embroidered on the front of the jacket enable the certified protective function of this contemporary PPE to be recognised immediately.

 

The collection consists of a jacket, trousers and bib & brace trousers and is available in sizes 44 to 64, 94 to 110 and 24 to 29. More information at
