HB at the Interschutz 2022

Jun 1, 2022

HB Protective Wear has significantly expanded its range of Fire & Rescue Services and offers innovative protective clothing for use in wildland firefighting and technical assistance in addition to Flammgard® day service clothing for fire brigades. It goes without saying that these garments meet the highest safety standards and also have a modern look, many useful features and a particularly high level of wearer comfort. Numerous equipment variants also take individual requirements into account. The Interschutz trade fair in Hanover from 20 to 25 June offers ample opportunity to take a close look at the new HB collections.

Among other things, HB will be presenting its wide range of Flammgard® brand daywear for firefighters, such as the extensive KLASSIK collection. It includes blousons, jackets, softshell jackets, fleece jackets and trousers with and without reflective stripes for men and women and is particularly impressive due to its high-quality and comfortable fabric composition of aramid and viscose FR. Flammgard® KLASSIK is characterised by a representative look, protects against heat and flames and is as comfortable as leisure wear. For firefighters, Flammgard® is always the first choice when they are not on fire duty - for example, during equipment maintenance, training courses or fire safety watches. A particular advantage is that the daytime service clothing can be adapted to the different regulations of the federal states

In response to typical open-air firefighting requirements, HB-Wildfire was developed in collaboration with a professional fire brigade and redesigned in accordance with the new EN 15384 specifications. The new aramid blend fabric is robust and hard-wearing, as is the reflective striping, which can now withstand even more washes. Particularly stressed areas such as hems, knees and elbows are equipped with additional silicone-coated fabric.

The collection is also suitable for use in technical assistance and consists of trousers and a jacket. Both are finished with special shaped seams that provide comfortable freedom of movement. In addition, there are important equipment features such as two radio pockets with antenna opening, detachable braces and inside knee pockets. The high breathability of the material prevents the wearer from sweating quickly.

Matching to the jacket, a back collar is available in six different colours, which is fastened with Velcro.

HB cordially invites you to come and see the new features in person at Interschutz

The Fire & Rescue range is rounded off by the new HB-TECHNICAL RESCUE collection, which was developed as an all-rounder for technical emergency services. It includes a parka, trousers and fleece jacket and is made of a lightweight but robust fabric that reliably protects against heat and flames. The rain-repellent parka is virus- and bacteria-proof and can be supplemented on colder days by the zip-in fleece jacket, which then provides additional warmth. HB-TECHNICAL RESCUE also offers the wearer a variety of useful equipment details such as segmented reflective stripes (incl. high-visibility vest exemption), practical Velcro fasteners on all pockets and also the option of attaching a back roll.

Under the name HB-TECHNICAL RESCUE LITE, there is also a light version for technical assistance: the combination of jacket and trousers is made of hard-wearing and flame-retardant fabric and is equipped with DGUV-compliant reflective striping, so that good visibility is also guaranteed here by day and night.
