HB presents new products at the RETTmobil fair 2023

Mar 1, 2023

HB Protective Wear has significantly expanded its range in the area of Fire & Rescue Services and offers innovative protective clothing for use in technical assistance and area firefighting as well as Flammgard® day service clothing for fire brigades. It goes without saying that the clothing meets the highest safety standards and impresses with its contemporary design, many useful features and a particularly high level of wearer comfort. Numerous equipment variants also take individual requirements into account. The RETTmobil trade fair from 10 to 12 May in Fulda offers ample opportunity to take a close look at the new HB collections.

HB-TECHNICAL RESCUE for Technical Aid
The new HB-TECHNICAL RESCUE collection has been developed as an all-rounder for technical rescue services. It includes a parka, trousers and fleece jacket and is made of a lightweight but robust fabric that reliably protects against heat and flames. The rain-repellent parka is virus and bacteria proof and can be complemented on colder days by the zip-in fleece jacket, which then provides additional warmth. HB-TECHNICAL RESCUE offers the wearer a variety of useful equipment details such as segmented reflective stripes with high-visibility vest exemption, practical Velcro fasteners on all pockets and the option of attaching a coloured back collar.

Under the name HB-TECHNICAL RESCUE LITE, there is also a light version for technical assistance: the combination of jacket and trousers is made of hard-wearing and flame-retardant fabric and is equipped with DGUV-compliant reflective striping, so that good visibility is also guaranteed here by day and night.

HB-Wildfire 2.0 for firefighting in open terrain
Due to the climatic changes and the resulting increase in the risk of forest fires, the demand for clothing for this area of application is also rising. This is exactly why we have developed our new HB-Wildfire 2.0 collection, which also takes into account the new standard requirements of EN 15384. The result is protective clothing that is precisely adapted to the requirements of fire-fighting forces in open terrain - it protects safely against flames and is still as comfortable and physically relieving as possible.

The lightweight and hard-wearing aramid/viscose FR outer material is worth mentioning here, as is the reflective striping that withstands many washes. Also the inner lining with hydrophilic properties: it absorbs moisture excellently and releases it evenly in the form of evaporative cooling. This means that the wearer does not sweat so quickly.

The elaborate workmanship with special shaped seams and segmented reflective stripes ensures freedom of movement. Particularly stressed areas such as hems, knees and elbows are equipped with an additional silicone-coated fabric and all pockets are finished with Velcro fasteners. The collection consists of a jacket, trousers and optional detachable braces in three colours each, as well as a functional identification tunic in five colours, which is also available as an option, and is also excellently suited for use in technical assistance.

HB-Wildfire 2.0 is certified according to EN ISO 11612 and EN 15384. The collection is available in red/blue, gold and blue and comes standard in sizes 46-54, 24-27 and 90-106. The tucker is available in white, yellow, red, green and blue and in three different sizes. More information on the new collections at https://www.hb-online.com/de/produkte/fire-rescue-services.
