In our new Duo collection, the front and back are each made from a different material – for optimum protection with less weight and more comfort. The AW1-Y material with the highest thermal insulation (C4) provides protection at the front – where the radiant heat mainly hits. At the rear, we use the lighter CK-12/Z fabric (C3). This results in a lower garment weight and at the same time very good protection against heat and liquid metals.
